MARK G. MATHIS – PRODUCER/DIRECTOR
Mark G. Mathis produced the Sundance hit BRICK which was released by Focus Features. He was nominated for the 2006 Independent Spirit John Cassavetes Award for Best Producer. Additional producing credits include the Golden Globe and Academy Award nominee for best picture PRECIOUS: based on the novel by Sapphire, the Lee Daniels project TENNESSEE starring Mariah Carey, CONVERSATIONS WITH OTHER WOMEN starring Helena Bonham Carter and Aaron Eckhart as well as the Slamdance Grand Jury Winner GOOD HOUSEKEEPING.
Mathis recently served as the Assistant Director on the Sundance acquisition WAITRESS and John August’s directorial debut THE NINES.
Over the years, Mathis has produced and directed television commercials for clients such as McDonald’s, Direct TV, Disney, and ABC television.
